I did have to hold the skirt up when walking up stairs to avoid tripping, but that’s part of the fun of wearing a gown like this. The fabric is soft and cool to the touch. It’s not the heaviest satin I’ve ever felt, but it doesn't look cheap. For the price, it is an excellent value. I felt very elegant walking into the theater.
