The material is thick enough to keep you warm-ish, but breathable. I suggest wearing shapewear underneath because the satin shows everything if you aren't careful.

I honestly wasn't expecting this dress to fit as well as it did right out of the package. I needed something for my daughter's wedding that felt elegant but not stiff, and this one is perfect.

The satin feels heavier than I expected, which is good because it doesn't look cheap. I did have to take it to a local tailor to hem the bottom since even with heels, the sweep train was dragging a bit too much for an outdoor ceremony. The off-the-shoulder part stays in place surprisingly well. Overall, it’s a solid dress for the price, just make sure you leave time for alterations.
